Pending: Keyboard shortcuts, File menu, Sidebar, Trash, Remote filesystem support, Archive support, Cloud support, Checksum calculations, Drag & drop support.

Quad-pane layout with tabs

Each tab can have its own layout. Supports - Single pane, Dual pane (Vertical split), Dual pane (Horizontal split) and Quad pane.

Dual-pane - Horizontal split

File Operations

Copy and move operations are displayed at the bottom of the pane where the operation was initiated. Multiple operations are stacked vertically.

Style options

UI options are displayed at the bottom of the panel by clicking the settings icon in statusbar. Displaying this in an inline panel makes it easier to see the effect of the changes.

Pathbar with navigation links

Clicking on the empty space in the pathbar switches to an editing mode. Moving the mouse away switches back to the crumbs view.

Disk manager dropdown

Displays connected devices at a glance along with space info, mount path, etc. Clicking on the item will mount the device if not already mounted, and open it in the current pane. Supports unlocking encrypted LUKS devices, etc.

File Context Menu

File context menu was implemented with all the basic options. More options are planned .

Planned: Paste Directory Structure, Paste Hardlinks, Mount/Write/Boot ISO, and more... (suggestions are welcome)

  1. Looks great so far. I'm assuming there is a dual-pane vertical split as well? You mentioned cloud support in pending, will Nextcloud be supported possibly?

    1. Yes, dual-vertical is the default. I'm planning to use rclone as a backend so it will support the same services as rclone.
